About Petr Šuťak

Hi, I’m Petr.

I am a QA Engineer and IT Systems Analyst based in Prague. My focus lies at the intersection of software quality, data precision, and business logic.

Before diving into software testing and test automation, I spent years analyzing operational workflows and studying law. This background shaped how I approach software: I don’t just verify that buttons work; I validate how data flows through systems, uncover root causes behind edge cases, and ensure complex software actually solves the problem it was built for.

How I Work & What I Do

  • End-to-End Quality Assurance: I cover the full testing lifecycle—from manual functional, regression, and exploratory testing to automated checks with Playwright.
  • API & Data Validation: My testing goes beyond the UI. I actively use Postman for API testing and write SQL queries to verify data integrity across relational databases.
  • Systems & Process Analysis: I help teams bridge communication gaps between business requirements and technical execution. From authoring standard operating procedures (SOPs) at Xiaomi to root-cause investigations (5 Whys) at JLL, I focus on building sustainable workflows.
  • Web Performance & Front-End: Working with modern web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript), I care about web architecture and optimizing Core Web Vitals for speed and user experience.

Background & Experience

Currently, I work with teams in Prague including Faces & World (focusing on Playwright automation and Agile web verification) and Allwyn Česko (driving manual functional testing, Postman API suites, and SQL backend verification).

My technical journey is backed by hands-on QA engineering training at GoIT, combined with an Associate degree in Law. Working across international environments, I communicate fluently in English, Czech, Ukrainian, and Russian.
